The Real Blonde

Overall Rating:

Summary:

A Young Couple struggles to make ends meet in New York City. He's a pretentious actor, who won't take the simplest of acting gigs because it lessens his worship of The Craft, and she's a stylist. The friend of the lead (one of these days I'll start noting the actor's names) takes a job on a soap opera and succeeds, leaving his friend to wallow in self pity. Nothing of great interest here except Elizabeth Berkeley plays the dumb blonde very well, even when she's not blonde. This occurs first as a stand-in for Madonna in her video shoots. Nothing much to report here. The rather predictable outcome dampens the movie.
