Football Players go on strike, demanding more money. Scab players are brought in to help continue to fill the stadiums. This movie focuses on one of the teams, the Washington Sentinels. Even the coach is replaced by an aging coach, overplayed by Gene Hackman, who hires a ragtag band of players who are led by Keanu Reaves, and consist of a lot of stereotypes. Think Major League meets The Bad News Bears and you've got it
