We Were Strangers from the Internet Movie Database
The story of two couples who don't love each other, but change their minds. An Asian Indian couple endures an arranged marriage, and a Italian chef tries to win the heart of a radio producer.
An entertaining independent film that takes place in New York City with some good jokes, and some above average dialog. The radio producer was often compared to the Virgin Mary in appearance, and slowly is won over by her suitor. The Indian couple experiences a clash of culture, as the wife has just emigrated from India, and struggles to find a life for herself while getting to know her husband. I was able to get a photo with the two lead actresses, who you can see if you click here. All of the actors and actresses in the movie were quite good, and I hope to see them all again.
